Our field trip to "This is the place monument" !! We had a great time and the kids can't wait to go back !

This is pretty cool !! The kids are pointing at the name Sylvester H. Earl . Sylvester is the kids great, great, great, great Grandpa !! He was in the first company of pioneers with Brigham Young to come into the Salt Lake valley in 1847 ! The kids were pretty thrilled about that ! The thought that there (4 greats) grandpa probably knew Brigham Young personally !

How fun! I've never been up there. Wasn't I supposed to go with you? Oh well, next time. It looks like the kids had fun. Love the boys wearing the bonnets! That's a look I'm sure Scott would be proud of :-)!! After seeing that "house" I'm feeling like I live in a mansion. That's it...not more complaining! I could have NEVER been a pioneer, obviously I was not the only one who thought that too.
P.S. Have you noticed that McKenna is almost as tall as you?!?!?!

I've been up there with Savannah's 3rd grade class. I agree it is such a fun place to go to. I'm glad you had a good time.

Hi!
My name is Andra and I'm the one doing the boutique. It's called "Sweet Tweets Boutique" are you interested in coming or selling at it? Let me know. My email is andrastoker@yahoo.com Also, this is totally random, but your blonde friend that is in the vegas pictures...who cuts her hair? It's so cute and that's the style I'd like! Totally a random post from a stranger, but hope to hear from you soon!

We went here for the first time pioneer day weekend and it was awesome. Let me know when you go again. We'd love to go back. As a side note, have your kids lost nintendo ds? Chase found one at our house and thought it was a surprise for his birthday and then found something on one of the programs that said cody/kenna's. Let me know!

So fun! We went with all the Staker cousins for Pioneer Day this summer (for July 24th), and it was so fun for the kiddies, but soooo HOT and it was a lot of walking... (and I was sooo preg!) We'll have to go back with you guys in the Spring when it's nice and cool, but OPEN! I bet we (well I, at least!) would enjoy it more!

So did you get to do the pony rides or weave rugs? My boys fave was the Candy Store where they could buy stuff and the Deseret Bank. They also loved the Printing Press where they got to make their own Newspaper... so much to do! I just LOVED the Ice Cream! :)
